Nortel has acquired a company that provides secure, high-performance enterprise routers in order to strengthen Nortel's offerings in end-to-end converged, secure IP telephony and multimedia networks. The WAN IP routers shall come under Nortel’s Secure Router line, which is designed for branch offices and for “converging network services onto one platform".
