VMware and Mozilla have teamed up to produce a browser application that takes advantage of the virtualization technology in new PCs. In this Mozilla is not alone. "BEA Systems, IBM Software, Novell, Oracle and Red Hat, have developed pre-built VMware environments which are available for free on the VMware Technology Network".
MCI has achieved gigabit speeds of up to 40 gbps (giga bits per second). This is not the first time. What is different this time appears to be the distance. "MCI originally demonstrated high-capacity Internet technology in May of 2004 when the company successfully transmitted the world's first 40 Gbps IP traffic".
