11/26 - A product from graphics manufacturer Matrox is now available that allows laptop users and others with only one graphics connector to run dual monitors. One can now run two smaller monitors with as much or more viewable screen area than a single large display "for a fraction of the cost".
ATI is working on its next flagship graphics chip, dubbed the R580. The chip should succeed the X1800 as its top-of-the-line graphics processor early in 2006. "The R580 will be ATI’s latest offering in its flagship GPU line".
