11/11 - Word is out that "AMD beat Intel in the US retail PC market in October for the first time". Could this have something to do with the fact that all of Intel's plants running at full capacity were unable to meet demand in the 2nd quarter, or with the shortage of Intel chipsets in the 3rd quarter? If Intel was unable to meet demand, this represented an opportunity for its competitors.
